Purpose/Opportunity:To establish a large-scale cryogenic natural gas processing facility in Texas, capable of handling significant volumes of natural gas and producing valuable natural gas liquids (NGLs).
Method: Implemented a Gas Subcooled Process (GSP) cryogenic process, supplemented by a high-capacity 800 gallons per minute (GPM) inlet treater. The facility also incorporated 15,000 horsepower (HP) of electric motor-driven residue compression, with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) control for optimized efficiency.
Results: Created a high capacity cryogenic facility, with high horsepower compression, and a large inlet treater. The VFD control allows for operational flexibility and energy efficiency.
