Compressor Stations – West Virginia

Purpose/Opportunity:To establish high-capacity natural gas compression facilities in challenging mountainous terrain in West Virginia, supporting the gathering and transportation of significant volumes of natural gas.

Method: Constructed two modular compressor stations, each with a capacity of 120 MMSCFD, on remote mountain top locations. The stations incorporated essential equipment, including slug catchers, inlet separators, 1680 HP gas engine-driven two-stage compressor units, dehydration trains, and measurement systems.

Results: Successfully deployed two robust and self-contained compressor stations capable of efficiently processing and transporting large volumes of natural gas in a difficult geographic region. The modular design enabled efficient transport and installation on the mountaintops.
